If you know me, you know I'm not a fan of these natural supplements, but someone I trust said it changed their life.

It came with this spoon, and the instructions say to take one spoon per day:

I'll let you know how it worked out

supplements for what

Someone I know started taking L-Theanine supplements, but for anxiety rather than ADD. It apparently worked very well for them - I hope it works for you as well.

I take fish oil supplements as that is supposed to be good for ADHD, although I don't really notice much of a difference.

Sounds like a good 2 for the price of one for me..

I can't stand the after taste, I keep tasting fish all day long.

L-Theanine
I have bought a TON of stuff from iHerb, including L-theanine.

It works, perhaps, for the first week or two, then it wears off... I don't think I bought it for concentration; it should make you more relaxed. Some people take it with coffee, apparently it helps reduce the come down or anxiety, whatever.

It is a mild supplement, and it wears off super quick... your body gets used to it.

I've heard that can be unpleasant. I actually kind of like the fishy aftertaste. At least, it could be worse.

When I was a child, my mother would buy a lot of supplements to try and help my concentration issues. One thing she bought was this vanilla-flavoured fish oil spray. it was pretty vile.
She didn't understand why I didn't want to take it, until she tried it herself. It got thrown out pretty soon after that.

I wish i didn't downvoted the sick emoji suggestion

Don't you get fish oil supplement as capsules that you swallow whole? All I've taken has been in this format with no taste at all, its just like a soft pill that you swallow.

Yeah, they have those these days.

In post-Soviet countries, they used to give you fish oil with a spoon.

It exists here in the nordics as well, just not as common these days and feels like a weird alternative to pick in this day and age.

There are “burpless” versions of these pills, but the ones that I found to be the most tolerable were the ones that had a bit of mint mixed in with them.

Pass.. I prefer my fish cooked rather than squished.
