I’m surprised @Zwielicht didn't get in on this one first (or he did and I missed it? Ha) - just noticed we passed 300 members here, I’ve no doubt if the manual verification process wasn’t in place we’d have much more, however they’d most likely be bots or characters we do not want here… quality over quantity is the best way, especially in these early stages!
I remember wicked fire wayyyy back in the day, they had a similar structure. It was a tight knit community without much of the nonsense that plagued other forums… the result? - that place in it’s prime attracted some of the smartest minds I’ve come across in the IM world because they felt comfortable sharing their knowledge there safe knowing that it wasn’t being leeched by people and the conversations on there where unreal. I see OO going that way and it makes me smile after seeing the downfall of other forums due to a lack of quality control and the opening of the flood gates which inevitably destroyed them.
