Do you guys wear a watch?

I got a collection of four watches

One ordered from Manchester United official Website

One is a limited edition from Celtic football club

One being from Arsenal football club

One from Titan

I am planning to buy Rolex or Seiko as my next watch gear

I don’t usually wear watches, necklaces, rings, or any kind of accessories on a daily basis, but I do like putting them on for special occasions. The only problem is, I don’t seem to have much luck with watches.

My first watch was a gift from my grandfather when I was around 13. AMde me look like a G back at the time lol But unfortunately, it was stolen when our house got robbed.


Years later, my brother gave me a beautiful Tissot for my 30th birthday, worth around $1,000. Somehow, I managed to lose it just a week later, probably while washing up for ablution. I still have the box and papers at home, just not the watch. I just remember how my mom asked me about the watch since she hadn’t seen me wearing it, and I was so confident it was sitting safely inside the box. That’s when I discovered it wasn’t there at all hahha

Now I’m planning to buy myself a Rolex (budgeting around $6–7k) for my 35th birthday. The only thing holding me back is my track record with watches lol
I’m not sure if I should risk it again after all this bad luck.

This. I have a small collection too. Started collecting couple years ago. Have 8 spilt between Casio, Titan, Timex, and this Tag heur brands.

If you are getting rolex get it from a place where the taxes are lesser than India. India has ridiculous import tariffs on items like this. Try Dubai or a country where you can save taxes. But I heard there is a waitlist and my Brother in law is on it for the past few months.

There is also a nice grey market in Bangkok with a 40-50% price cut. Then there is a 1st copy market there with 80% price cut. You get everything from perfumes etc that don't have an invoice and you pay by cash

I can't find anything on it now, but they're somehow partnered with the right Swiss watch makers for parts, while teaming with either Mercedes's or Ferarri's design team...

I could be wrong with the car manufacturing brand, but I'm confident in what I'm saying

Dad loves them as well, was over the moon when I went looking for opinions

I don't wear one. Only when I go on date nights or nights out with group of people where appearances matter (I know)

I collect tag tag heuer carrera I have more than 1 and less then 50 of them...
