Reddit Reddit showing post views now publicly

You can now see how well everyone's post is doing in  ANY subreddit in the Reddit app.


What you do need to know about this is.

The views displayed and the Unique Viewer may differ, due to people coming back multiple times to the same post. Another reason is that each Redditor is counted as 2 UV instead of 1.

No doesn't seem like it. It's given randomly currently. Most of my 2 year old accounts have it. ( US IP)

Correct it is Safe For Work, NSFW usually have around ~150 online members around this time.

This is a useful feature for anyone running promos for clients. No manual reporting is needed, as clients can check views and reach themselves.
