Just saw the news and I’m honestly stunned — Felix Baumgartner, the guy who jumped from space back in 2012, has died. He was 56. It happened on July 17, 2025, in Italy. He was flying a paramotor, and apparently something went wrong mid-flight — maybe a medical issue — and he crashed into a hotel pool. They couldn’t save him. For anyone who somehow missed it, this is the guy who literally jumped from 39 km up during the Red Bull Stratos project. He broke the sound barrier with his body. Total legend.
Feels surreal. He pushed limits most of us wouldn’t even dream of. Whether you’re into skydiving or not, Felix was the kind of person who made you rethink what humans are capable of.
