I have a few clients I manage just as a side hustle. It was easy when I started out. To be honest though, now I feel the SEO for it is becoming more and more difficult. If they were all within the same market it would make things easier, especially when it comes to competitor analysis, keyword optimisation and PBN management.
But now i've got four fairly distinct areas to manage for little in the way of return. I wonder whether at this point whether it would be worth just focusing on one distinct market or at least sector, or 'niche' as many people insist on calling it, rather than try to be an SEO jack of all trades, especially as i'm just doing it part time. Or have you still managed to find way to become a generalist and do it all really well? Is there still hope or do you feel it will just become more difficult, especially with the added volatility of AI results to focus on too?
