Acknowledging that the current system has created "pop-up chaos" and "consent fatigue," Brussels is looking for ways to create a more user-friendly internet experience.

Thing is this was a big fuss back in the day. Then they said a few days before it was go to live having a pop-up was no longer required as long as you documented it in the privacy police of what cookies you use, to do what and give a guide to remove.

But everyone went nuts some 12 months later...

There was never a need for it and it's all been totally stupid from day 1.

Yeah, hope they make everything more clear this time since last time they really fckd up in their communication to businesses.
