I don't know if we can mention "B*W" forums here, but until there are no hundreds of users here, I can talk about it I think ;)

The forum we all come from has accustomed us to ridiculous prices for our services, software, and knowledge.
Most users of that forum are completely broke.
They have a problem paying $100 for knowledge worth $700. They have a problem paying $300 for software worth $3000. Most people ask "how to earn $10/day".
In that place, moderators don't help. I remember that I personally wanted to sell a method that everyone wanted. That is, how to bypass 0 views on TikTok. Do you know what they told me? That my $700 is irrational, I can sell for $100 or do not sell xD
Currently, I am personally looking for a marketplace where people have no problem paying $5000 for a custom bot for social media.
I have met many such people on Telegram who have no problem throwing $5000 for a bot, as if they were paying for a Snickers bar.
I don't know if I will find such a place. I'll try to spam some Telegram groups where CPA/Affiliate/OnlyFans people hang out with my tools or courses. Maybe I'll find people there for whom a deal for a few thousand dollars is nothing unusual.

Someone angry, who is making automation stuff gave a lesson few days ago.
He was furious why I am selling software for $1000 when others selling for $5000-$10000?
That gave me weird thoughs. I was formatted by B*W, their rules, average customer's pocket there.

I don't think this forum will be better, honestly. Soon, or later there will be the invasion of people asking "how to make $10" or selling accounts for $5 ;)
It's the nature of such forums

So true. But I never experienced marketplace moderators take notice on pricing.

People do not have money, everything CAN be found online you just have to find the needle in the haystack. But sellers should have the liberty to price their own product.

Well, I think you should be allowed to charge as much as you want then it is up to buyers/market to decide if they want to buy or not. We all have our own definition on what products or services would cost or what we need to get paid as we live in different countries with different living cost needs.

I know where you're coming from when you say BHW shaped your expectations. I noticed the same thing as I was building this forum up to the point where I nearly added in weird things they had in their rules just because it was what I was used to.

There are no restrictions on mentioning competing forums here, so feel free to talk about it.

I mean, there's even a thread about it in the SEO section. Even I told others to join as many of these forums as you can.

I'm sure a lot of those members will join this forum at some point, but keeping them engaged and uplifting them is important so that we can create better members of the community.

There's something I plan on doing with this marketplace that I never had a chance to do on the other one. I can't promise that it'll be a marketplace known for high ticket products and services as I want this to be a forum first, but I am trying to build it up based on ideas I couldn't explore fully before.

We are working on getting The Trading Post up, but we still lack the traffic for it to be worth posting a sales thread in right now. However, the traffic is improving each day thanks to the efforts of the members here.

Anyway, I appreciate you sharing this here as I felt like it opened up a nice discussion. :)

I agree with this. It's no secret that I built the internal marketplace processes and the service-specific rules for them between 2018 and 2023, but a lot of what I made for that forum was based around their own pre-existing restrictions. The "unreasonable pricing" restriction was one of those; I didn't add that in, it was already there before I even became a moderator.

I didn't agree with dictating the pricing because, as @Dopious said, the seller should be able to determine their own pricing as every buyer has their own idea of what different products and services should cost. Also, let's be real here, it's pretty damn hard to keep with the "fair" pricing of every type of service; things like that change in this industry and they change fast.

The "unreasonable pricing" restriction
That's the biggest BHW joke. I realized that, when I met a guy in the music industry in Los Angeles. He paid me ASAP $8k to make him TikTok warm up bot to promote local artists.
I was amazed, worked on this 2 months for 6-8h/day. Then calculated, it's normal salary, but still I was amazed how much bigger it was than stakes on BHW where I heard before "unreasonable pricing"
To who? For broken folks from developing countries maybe they are not reasonable. Then I met on Telegram people who are making $25k-$100k/m in Only Fans industry. Also met one guy who is selling clothes on TikTok and Instagram, he have factory in the USA and selling high quality clothes for $250k/m. He told me str8, my info helped him and my price was joke. Atleast he tip me with few hundreds extra just for nothing.

Now I think, there must be a lot of people who are making high cash and are ready to spend. They are in Telegram groups, maybe somewhere else, but not on BHW and this is most dissapointing there.
