No, I've seriously not slept since April 6th.

• A bug that @Rem alerted us about with reactions appearing on two separate lines has been fixed. You can read more about it here.
• More has been developed for The Trading Post. I feel like all of you are really going to like the review process we came up with.
• Some changes have been made to the What's New page to not display that redundant new posts widget in that section. The other widget for new threads has been moved to the bottom of the page for now, although we're looking into a better way of displaying it.
• There's a new section in the Sapphire Section as suggested by @UnusualSubstance, but it's a surprise.
• The two ratio trophies now require a minimum message count of 100 before the ratios are actually tracked. This was suggested by @roydan who pointed out that someone could get them too easily just by having a well-liked introduction thread.
• @Dopious suggested adding a "New Threads" tab to the "What's New" page. @Impulse added this in and I cleaned up the widgets on the page. This should greatly improve everyone's experience using the What's New view.
• We have a lot more active members now, so I've increased the maximum number of visible usernames on the Members Online widget from 10 to 20.
• This one is a funny one, but I changed the phrasing used around the forum from "Members" to "Outlaws". Let me know if messes anything up or doesn't make sense in some places.
• We've made some changes to the eligibility of Sapphire Status. For the moment, you'll automatically be able to see the upgrade once your account is 3 days old. If you run into any issues, post a forum feedback thread.
• We've separated suggestions from feedback with a new Forum Suggestions section. We did this so that for suggestions, members can not vote for what they want! It's not like the poll system you're all used to, it's a different type of section. Just go to it and see what I mean.
• Due to a request I've seen in a few different threads, previous usernames are now unavailable to register for 100 years instead of just 1 year.

Yeah, I stayed up all night again, okay!?

Anyway, expect more updates throughout the day.

• Okay, so the last two days have been really laggy. It's been pissing all of us off, including me. So, the big update we have for you is that we've upgraded our VPS. That's right, without any downtime! We should be good to handle significantly more traffic and active users, because it was a little embarrassing that the site started lagging when there were more than 12 members online.
• Signature renters rejoice! @Impulse enabled a feature to show signatures to guests/visitors who aren't logged in.
• Automatic image optimisation has been enabled across the forum for avatars, attachments, and any other images. This means you can enjoy even faster page load times.
• This is a less fun update, but the maximum file size for attachments is now 100KB . The maximum number of attachments per post is now 5. Sorry, even though we have more storage space now, we want to make sure we don't run out. If you want to post an image, it is better to embed it.
• Now that the server has been upgraded, I'm back to making the same mistake I made when I set up modded Minecraft servers: I'm adding in more plugins. This particular add-on is an alert improvements feature requested by @roydan and @Rem, because getting individual alerts for every single reaction even when they're for the same post is really annoying. - Okay, so we needed to disable this. It was causing the page load time to go up quite a lot and the improvements weren't that great, to be frank. I'm sure there were settings we could've adjusted, but we'd rather leave it disabled.
• We've increased the requirements to buy Sapphire Status from the upgrades page from 4 days to needing to earn 2 stars and have a 7 day old account. The star system is being used for this to prevent someone from coming on just posting "Welcome" to bump their message count. You know, we want engaged members of the community purchasing Sapphire Status. As time goes on, we'll be increasing these requirements to 3 stars and 30 days.
• @Apricot made some great improvements to our server! Also, we're now using Cloudflare.
• A Sapphire Suggestions section has been created in the Sapphire Section.
• A section called "The Beta Hub" has been created in the Sapphire Section. This is a section for those with Sapphire Status to ask other Sapphire memebrs to beta test their upcoming products and services.
• I noticed there was a new issue with logging out and logging back in. I identified this as being caused by the new caching, and fixed it in a way that means that we can still enjoy the speed benefits without it causing that issue.
• As suggested by @Dopious, we've added a new partnerships section.
• @Impulse implemented a much requested feature: the reaction icons in the thread list view now display a count.
• Some of you may have noticed your reaction count decrease. This is because the reaction count in the thread list tallies up the number of points, but we had some reaction that were worth more than 1 point. In order to prevent others from being confused, we set the points for each reaction to all be "1".

What is "sleep" anyway?

Most of the changes we've been working on this morning were focused on adding more site guides and putting together the rules of The Trading Post.

As our userbase is continuing to grow, we felt it necessary to prioritise rules and guides across the forum so that everyone knows what to expect.

I know rules can be annoying, but I feel like we've found a way to add them in a way that allows everyone to feel like they can talk freely without having to worry about getting a warning for saying "the wrong thing". However, if anyone feels otherwise about any rule, feel free to start a suggestions

With that said, you can view the changelog below. Just

• New site guides have been added.
• The Trading Post rules have been updated. It's still not ready to go as we're still beta testing everything, but we are making progress.
• The highlighted post styles for both dark and light themes have been edited to make them clearer and generally better to look at.
• We put up an advertising page at the recommendation of @back2form.
• @Impulse is working on designing some custom reactions for Office Outlaw. Some of you have already seen the new heart reaction, and she'll be redoing the LMAO reaction as well. She'll post an announcement thread about it once she's done.

Is it midnight already? Time for another changelog post!

• We've got our newsletter thread up. We'll be sending out our newsletter via e-mail to those of you who have ticked the box on your preferences page to receives news and updates for us.
• We've fixed the URL on the help page as it... was not ideal. Thanks for pointing this out, @Rem.
• We've altered the default background colour of reactions in lists, so now they don't look like they're buggy. This is another one adjusted thanks to a suggestion from @Rem.
• @Impulse has finished re-working all of the reactions, so we officially have our own custom reactions on Office Outlaw. - @Impulse rolled it back. Instead, she's used the emoji pack already on the forum to change the "Love" reaction to the heart emoji, "Haha" to a smiley that's more distinct, and "Sad" to a crying face emoji. She's also added in the "Thanks" emoji by the suggestion of @roydan. Finally, the LMAO reaction has been upscaled by @Vix.
• I've updated the description for Sapphire Status. It's more organised and also mentions not to purchase it just to submit a sales listing since The Trading Post is not open yet. I've also just made it look nicer.

We need to take it a little slow today, so there unfortunately won't be as many updates.

We have more submissions being beta-tested for the Trading Post right now. You can see from the current submissions that the review process is more in-depth. It takes more time to do, but it means we can really get to know the product or service.
