Traders… Forex, Gold, little Crypto?

We got many day traders on OO? I’ve got into day trading in a big way since I last seen most of you at the other place. The past 2 years I’ve become pretty good at it… primarily day trading gold being my strong point, although I have had very good success during this meme cycle (if you could call it that ffs) being able to spot some nice coins before they mooned like KIKI, Whisp, Vine and a few others I got a lucky heads up on like the trump coin when everyone was wondering if it was legit I already knew as a friend was at his crypto ball the evening it was launched and wired me off early - all apart from Trump have now hit rock bottom haha.. cruel realm that meme land.

I actually got a little too sucked into the memecoins for a bit and kind of neglected what I was best at, that being the day trading gold… it fascinates me how much money can be made quickly in trading, although it can be lost just as quick.

Curious to see if there are any traders here and what you’re trading? I know @Sol just landed here and we spoke briefly before when I was using a friends account elsewhere for a little bit.

Edit: @Zwielicht feel free to move this bro if it’s in the wrong section, wasn’t quite sure if it fell under crypto or not. They never allowed forex talk in other places if I remember correctly, might be a subsection worth looking into within crypto or an overall “trading” section with crypto and the ones I mentioned being sub sections, I know I’d certainly have a lot to contribute if there was.

I always wanted to get in to this. I always had major question on my mind… can you successfully trade without margin? Wouldn’t want to lose more than what I have. I don’t even like overdrafts!!

Oh also, an additional question to traders would he… which platform(s) have the best stop losses and what would happen of a stop loss fails. Do you get your money back still?

Yeah of course… just don’t use leverage I trade with what’s in my account, that leverage stuff is not for the faint hearted… although can be very lucrative if done right.

Cheers for clarifying that. There was something out there when I was doing a bit of passive reading saying trade execution times are too slow without leverage. Might have just been random nonsense / platforms trying to promote borrowing I guess.

I do long and short term investments in crypto, always Spot.

Some shitcoins too lol, everyone who invests in crypto get affected by the shitcoin mania sooner or later no?!

I bought trump at around $6 too and sold at $60. FOMOed and aped back at $70 lol ... overall made some good profit on that shitcoin

I haven’t bro but I’ve seen some tools that interest me a little. I do have a bot set up on a VPS which grabs just forex trades from a number of different places I’ve found to be solid and executes them even to the point of moving the stop loss when a take profit level is hit… the gold I stick to doing myself manually.

Admit to being late into crypto, but don't trade it.

I have a couple of people I know through FB are big into trading, they made a killing with the Trumpcoin in January.

Bro do you remember the English lad… well older man from the other gaf, he was exec vip years and years back.. I forget what his nickname was on there but I’ve got him on fb, lives in Malta. He reached out to me not too long ago, making serious bank on trading, he’d seen a post I’d put on my fb about starting a private group and wanted to offer some help… we never got round to it in the end up but sounded like he’d had a whirl of a time since he’d been gone from over yonder too.

I must ping him on fb and let him know about here, don’t want to mention his actual irl name but I’m guessing you’ll have an idea who it is.

Take a look into “Vine” coin… I made some good money trading it initially, but now I hold a massive amount of it. If things pan out the way they predict then this coin will be huge at some point this year.

It was started by the old developer of the first 30 second video clip app “vine” which is now owned by X/Elon Musk as twitter bought vine and its IP before musk bought twitter, they shut it down before Elon bought twitter as they couldn’t figure out how to monetize it back then… I’ll leave the rest to your own research.

No I don't day trade I probably have account manager who does but me no...

I got index funds. Trade in silver & gold (Inc Real assets I stack a lot of silver)

Apart from crypto holdings for diversity that's it.
