How to Use the Calculator
Start by entering your current review numbers. You can either use the plus and minus buttons or type the values directly into the fields. As soon as you adjust the numbers, your TrustScore updates automatically in real time.
Next, set the target score you want to achieve. Then choose the type of new reviews you expect to receive. You can simulate a scenario where all incoming reviews are a single star rating, or you can create a custom mix across multiple star levels to reflect a more realistic campaign outcome.
Your live score displays instantly based on the data you’ve entered. The progress bars visualize your rating distribution, making it easy to see strengths and weaknesses at a glance. The “Reviews Needed” field shows exactly how many additional reviews are required to reach your selected target score.
How to Use the Competitor Comparison Tool
Begin by entering your own Trustpilot URL. This establishes your current score and review count as the baseline for comparison.
Then add competitors by pasting their Trustpilot profile URLs into the input field and clicking Add or pressing Enter. You can compare up to four competitors at the same time.
Once added, a five-axis radar chart will appear, comparing each business across key performance dimensions. These include overall score, total review volume, trust level based on score thresholds, credibility calculated from review volume multiplied by score, and momentum, which estimates growth potential based on score and volume combined.
You can hover over different areas of the chart to see detailed percentage breakdowns for each business. A leader banner at the bottom highlights which company is currently leading overall. If you want to adjust the comparison, simply click the remove icon next to any competitor to update the chart instantly.
Use this feature to identify where you are falling behind — whether it’s lower review volume, weaker trust level, or reduced momentum — and prioritize your strategy accordingly.
