Computing Why is RAM so expensive!?!?!

I was doing another build for my next computer and I literally cannot get RAM.

DDR5 RAM is just insanely overpriced right now and I don't want to get used RAM because I don't know what the previous person did with it and don't want to take chances.

Is anyone else having this problem right now or is it just me?

That's just the size of the ram you would be getting. A DDR4 ramstick has one 64bit channel, whereas DDR5 has two 32bit channels.

the reason i got is that Ai was using GPU in first place but now the Ai companies are using RAM for Ai training or developing.

So, that's why the price went sky rocket i think
