Why this forum is named "Office Out Law"?

I don't know whether it is asked already or not.

Curious to know the history behind the name.

I originally created Office Outlaw in November 2024 to bring together a community of people who wanted to make what they felt were toxic work environments more tolerable for themselves. People who were tired of being micromanaged; people who just need to give themselves a break. That's right Office Outlaw, was not originally an internet marketing forum, but it became one on March 23, 2025 as a result of some very fortunate circumstances.

Okay, I'll share the story on that.

So around last year, I noticed the emergence of a related niche that's anti-corporate, anti-work, but still wants to make money. I considered it similar, although not the same as internet marketing. The niche is full of people who basically take advantage of and find loopholes with their toxic office jobs in a way that we as internet marketers do with black hat SEO. For short, I called them office outlaws, hence the domain name.

I was planning the development of this forum as a side project in mid-2024, and finally started building it in November 2024.

After my contract with the other forum was severed back in March of this year and many of you reached out to me because you were concerned by my sudden disappearance there, we decided to repurpose this forum into an internet marketing forum on March 23, 2025. We kept the name of the forum the same because, admittedly, it's kind of cool, right?

Anyway, even though this is an internet marketing forum now, I still want to attract those "office outlaw" types of people as I believe they would gel really well with this community since they do very much think the same way as us. It'll bring in a lot of fresh blood in the internet marketing community as well once we bring in more of them.
