I will tell you something you may find funny in the past google got confused thought my car site was about dog food so I was outranking short term a dog food brand someone by Mars or Nestle if I remember correctly. I done nothing about dogs or even said once the word dog but Google was giving me free traffic for dog food stuff for a week or so.
