True, I think it's mostly stocks and shares. I have no idea how elites handles their taxes though. But obviously you're right it's probably financial suicide for the average joe just in taxes.

Try to take out cash from your bank account... Same, they won't have enough cash on hand to pay you.

Or with current KYC and anti money laundering in EU - try to do a bigger card transaction, or too fast, too often... Bank will block you for trying to access your own money. It's ridiculous.

I know you were talking about something else but it reminded me of that. A lot of the time you can look at numbers in your account/s but can't use it. We need some mainstream alternative to banks eh.

Money becomes digital, it's annoying AF but I get why governments do that. It's cheaper to manage and a lot easier to track.

I haven't used cash (except for two little things we still do with cash as a household) in years.

Yeahhh but they put limits on digital too, I literally have money and often can't use during an emergency because there are limits on how much I can spend. Too much and too fast and they'll kick me out of my own account for supposedly being suspicious.

I wish cash made a partial comeback here as well.
It's still used here and there but not that often. Also, some laws restrict using cash for deals above $1700.
