I want to use a Chinese theme for my website( wordpress )but I'm curious whether it might affect the site's performance

Because these themes don't use Google APIs or fonts. Please share your thoughts

Using Google APIs or fonts can definitely affect your site's performance since fetching them from Google's servers adds to the initial loading time.

What about part about it being chinese theme? Are there chinese characters in the theme? Other language on site might affect rankings.
