X (Twitter) X Bans twitter pay-outs for India [Interesting}

What has scamming got to do with Indians? This is racist af.

@ATruringtest I have edited the post and removed the India remark from it. Yes, most scam call centers are based in India, but not everyone is a scammer there. So please, let just keep out the race remarks from this. Thank you.

Was OP issued with a warning or something? Now it's not categorically racist still but I think OO shouldn't have any tolerance for such users I guess.

No, he wasn't issued a warning. I can understand if people felt attacked by the opening post, but I don't think it was OP's intention to cause any harm to anyone, so I haven't issued a warning.

Thanks for clearing this up. I will not report such posts in future so as to not cause the moderation team any further trouble given the forum policy on this is fairly clear now. Thanks again.

Feel free to report whatever you think breaks the rules and we will have a look at it. No need to stress it.

I realise we have, on the whole, become a much more intolerant society, than the one I grew up in.
Hurting someone's feeling via words not only seems, but in my opinion is, highly subjective.
I felt there was nothing in my statement that the vast majority of users would disagree with.
However without discourse, the ability to defend my statement and possibly be corrected on my opinion is lost.
As @Champagne pointed out "Yes, most scam call centres are based in India" True. And "but not everyone is a scammer there" I totally agree with.
And if you had simply replied with that statement I would have agreed with it, putting into context my opinion on the subject.
But now by deleting my original comment, no one has the opportunity to put their point forward as to why I hurt their feelings. Or maybe to agree with the statement and offer their reasoning.
Anyone reading this thread will now, no doubt speculate on what I wrote - go to the darkest spaces in their mind and form opinion's about me I cant defend.
Weather @Crazy Lucifer was actually offended by those perceived hurty words, or they were farming kudos from the staff... again. is highly subjective.
If such a statement sets the bar for acceptable tolerance, then I'm obviously in the wrong place.

Nice gaslighting combined with trying to shift the blame. I thought you would be brave with guts but then again, like with all racists, you are just another coward now making morally righteous statements.

False equivalence.

You know hes smashing the report button as I type ?
I wouldn't know :P
but honestly speaking
if i had to speak up
there no "mindset" i have.
Humans are humans
i hate everyone equally
doesn't matter what race you are
can't call me racist, more like humanist.

at some point in life, you don't "look past racial profile"
you just see them as humans
that's where i'm at.

you guys can categorize me as to or for against your argument but
i just see humans scamming humans
