Does anyone game, I saw the mobile thread but I'm no mobile gamer.

When did you start? Where you at now?

What do you play?

What console or pc.

Me I started back in the spectrum days and worked my way up through computers and consoles. We have an Xbox X, S, PS5, 2 x Switches and Gaming PC most of the family games my son is massively into it.

I only tend to play on a Friday when I had a few drinks I like to chill.

I played all the Battlefield games from the start to where we are at now. I still play 2042 now and again but I'm on Vigor, New Doom, Age of Empires etc.

I love AoE if I could only play one game it would be that, I've gotten my son into it and we have some massive battles together, love it & making memories!

I'm an Xbox player also

I started off with the Super Nintendo. My parents bought one when I was a kid and I played Super Mario Brothers and Killer Instinct. I especially loved Killer Instinct.

I moved on to PC games later on when my grandfather was getting me into military strategy games like Warcraft 2 and Starcraft. I played some before that, but not very often as my family didn't have a PC when I was younger since they were too expensive.

The last time I played console games was back around maybe around 2014. I love bragging about this, but I got really stressed with my business that year, and took a break to just play that game. I ended up getting really good at it and made it into Platinum league on the ranked play. I was making my way toward the Diamond ranking, but stopped playing because I had to go back to doing work.

I used to piss off so many of those kids! I did something called quick-scoping with snipers and used knives in the game often, and these kids would get mad at me and accuse me of botting.

I play PS5 on the weekends. I just finished Uncharted 4 and just started Ghost of Tsushima.

I've been playing since NES days.
Ghost of Tsushima amazing! Enjoy it!!

My son has taken over my Ps account other wise id say add, so I'm xbox online sorry :)

Oh I got a few years on you if Super Nintendo where it started.. lol

I always gone other way with the strategy stuff age of empires, rise of nations, command and conquer etc all stuff I got my boy playing now.

What was you playing to get into the ranked stuff?

I like to game to destress.

Lol I get the botting thing, I play till I become "one with the vodka" and I'm essentially at professional level for an hour or two then my gaming goes down hill

Oh, right, I didn't mention the name of the game. It was Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Some people didn't like it because it wasn't strictly a "boots on the ground" as you had these booster packs, but I really liked that it made the battlefield more 3-dimensional.

Was that the shit one where you had a top down view to control robot dogs etc?

Or something crap like that.

Yeah I didn't like it. :ROFLMAO:

I played most or probably all of the call of duty games. But I'm a hardcore battlefield fan, even played Battlefield Vietnam when it came out and you speak to some kids today and they got no clue that game exist

I have no idea which one that was. 🤣

I haven't actually played Battlefield or many other FPS' other than Advanced Warfare and Black Ops II & III; but I heard good things about it. Sometimes, I want to play another FPS, so maybe I'll give that a go one of these days.`

I meant advance warfare, did you have like overhead combat control or some bollocks they called it?

Is that the one you was pro at ?

Advanced Warefare was the one I was good at, yeah.

I don't remember any overhead combat controls. It played like any other FPS that I used to see.

Now that I think about it, Black Ops III might've had some overhead stuff if you got a bunch of kills in a row. Something about dropping bombs on other players if you had a killstreak. I never liked that feature, but then again, I brought a knife to a gun fight in that one.

I dunno maybe? was soooo long ago. I'm not even sure if it was that.

I know at the time it was a mod you had to download and install and then run servers from there. I'm trying to think what servers I used to play as I played with a local designer / developer back in the day and we used to play the same one over and over.

Can't recall.

I can't even think what my user was back then either it's changed so much over the years.

I used to love the .50 cal hidden on the mountain, snipe a spawn as you did back in the day till a plane ace took you out.

I went looking the old version of what would be battle log doesn't seem to be online anymore so I can't even start guessing at what my player name would have been to go looking...

I tend to play when drunk or getting drunk these days my BF2042 KD is 1.35 I just arse around running with a pistol or something stupid or try to clear the hallway jam up, while something like Fortnite I play with my son is 2.2

I'm alright for a gamer who is in 40s my reactions not as quick as I was when I was a kid but I can hold my own
