OpenAI CEO Sam Altman laid out a big vision for the future of ChatGPT at an AI event hosted by VC firm Sequoia earlier this month.

When asked by one attendee about how ChatGPT can become more personalized, Altman replied that he eventually wants the model to document and remember everything in a person’s life.

The ideal, he said, is a “very tiny reasoning model with a trillion tokens of context that you put your whole life into.”

“This model can reason across your whole context and do it efficiently. And every conversation you’ve ever had in your life, every book you’ve ever read, every email you’ve ever read, everything you’ve ever looked at is in there, plus connected to all your data from other sources. And your life just keeps appending to the context,” he described.

This is some scary shit really.

There are people using it as a diary, a pshycologist...Then they will start selling those personal information for other companies creating hyper personalized ads for each person, I can already imagine my browser flooded with dildo ads

You know that goes on anyway, now yeah?

I guess the hyper bit is spot on meaning it's crafted only for you but all ads are set into a specific group type anyway.

The only specific bit really will be an for something it will predict you need there and then.

Data harvesting today is way more scarier than people know or want to know unless you seen one of the data packs. It's shocking.

I had access to one 10-12 years ago I'd dread to think how advance it is today.

What a load of useless data and server space that’s gonna take up - wee sammy down the road there is a big beer drinker, likes a little football bet on a Saturday and is banging his wife’s sister… fucking hell.

I get why that scares people but you have to consider if you put in the wrong information or ask wrong it makes mistakes.

Not sure how many of you knew about this but in the past Google A.I was recommending women smoke 2 cigarettes while being pregnant and they recommend the best way too cook a pizza was super glue. A lot of these dumb or mistakes exist in it. The bigger question to me should be much is wrong or right in it? Which I don't think we know and even if they do use it to sell which I suspect probably already did like the other A.I things Facebook or Google or many places being doing that for a while.

I remember reading before someone went to court using Open A.I as the lawyer he got into trouble by the judge for it . I think A.I can be great but it can be bad if you use wrong or it has wrong information for example I heard about someone who tried to make a software using A.I then broke his computer by installing a virus on it. I think it was Mental outlaw who covered that before on youtube

before personalizing ChatGPT
they need to make sure ChatGPT stop doing absolutely retarded shit.
You ask it for a cat, it gives you a dog
you ask do i need to do this
it says no, then later, gives you shit for not doing it

It ask for your code so it can find "errors", then says "im assuming you are doing xyz while spits out some code that doesn't even exist". Why ask for my code then if you ain't even going read it.

Let's not forget, this guy can't math for nuts either
Shoulda better spent that 100m on furthering the technology then buying a stupid domain they dont even use.
