My impressions of Gemini is it acts like a 14 year Kiddy scripter - with Dementia - the first answer is normal spot on when it comes to code - then it goes way way way off topic every time you ask it to do other parts of the code related to the first question . Its trash atm <-- see what i did there lol

I think its about iteration of the original prompt it just can't keep on track for some reason - Chat-gpt is not much better - cursor is ok but it still dose the same now and again

that's the same with chatgpt with coding
you have to keep opening new conversations
after like ~10 prompts in
chatgpt is hallucinating like kid first time on shrooms

totally agreed that's my workflow - copy paste new chat - copy into cursor - tidy it up - copy to Pycharm for stability - when working and its also a backup.
Try doble dipping @Rem - have gem & gpt open paste same question into each - its very strange

Yeah, i double dip with
gitbhub & chatgpt
and sometimes with grok too
