Here on Office Outlaw, we allow VIPs, Founding Members, Moderators, and Administrators to have signatures. In case you don't know what a signature is, it's the little space below all of your posts where some pre-defined text or an image you choose shows up.
We do have some rules regarding signature spaces. However, something neat about signatures on our forum is that you don't need to keep any of these rules in mind.
Signature Limitations
You see, the limitations listed below are automatically applied to every signature, even the maximum banner size. This means that we have no need for warnings for simple formatting mistakes.
Update: we’re going to trial limited signatures with registered members as well.
We do expect signatures to follow the other rules of our forum.
Other than that, please don't use anything in your signature to mislead users into think they're clicking an alert on Office Outlaw.
Gif Signatures
Gif signatures are permitted, although we do expect them to not be... I'm sorry, I know this isn't specific, but we expect them to not be annoying.

- Maximum number of signature lines: 3
- Maximum number of links allowed in signature spaces: 3
- Maximum number of images: 1 (maximum size is width: 700px, height: 100px; sizes larger are automatically adjusted)
- Maximum allowable text size: 4 (default)
Update: we’re going to trial limited signatures with registered members as well.
- You can have up to 3 lines of text, but links and images cannot be added. We’re going to trial this for a bit and if everything goes well, then we can allow links and images. VIPs and Founding Members will instead get another benefit like 4-5 lines in a signature

- No rapid flashing, strobe-like effects, or rapid colour shifts
- Rapid transitions (count "1 Mississippi , 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi" between each transition).
