😔 I Got Banned From r/Foodporn

Unfortunately this absolute delightful pic of my food got me banned from r/Foodporn:

Is this not delicious enough?
The name might be a bit confusing.

It should be the food that is raw not you 😆

if he ate the food naked
would of been ok
Duly noted for my alt account.

In other news.

R/food didn't like me either.

Absolutely no clue why.

Trying to censor me :(.

I even wrote a poem...

Was was the rule you broke?
That's a great question.

Let's find out together.

None.

I clearly just pissed off some moderator since I don't see any rules that would apply to my high end world famous mealworm delight:

The poem is considered spam. Rule 7.
In my defence.

I wrote it for Imgur and it formatted fine.

And I just copied and pasted it.

Preview looked alright but looks like made it funky lol.

:(

Inb4 Octavia is a mod of r/food and might be able to summon my mealworm delight back from the ethos.

There's an obvious trend here mate. It's you.

You need to learn how to present your food.

Look at that burger I can see why food porn banned you. It looks like you smashed it with your feet. Where's the shape, the styling and the presentation on the plate? Nothing about that is food porn.

You obviously got confused and thought that sub was about taking naked photos with food. Rather than making the food sexy.

Jamie Oliver probably had you kicked off that sub for trying to work your way into his brand of the 'naked chef'

Then in r/food... again it looks like some child has spilt meal worms all over the place and thrown an egg on top and the egg, look at the state of that. No care has been taken to even try and make it uniform, and what's the black bits? Looks unappealing.

I think if you took the extra 5min in both situations to dress the plate correctly put as much love into how it looks on the plate, you would have been treated as a god and tv deals would have been offered. You could have easily grown and made it to global success with a series on:

How to cook on a budget by not using any power or gas.

Feel a family of 4 in 4 seconds, unwrap and eat.

All because you rushed the food presentation side of things.

Good luck on the next project.

🤣🤣

Jokes asside now:

Have you looked for any subreddits that match exactly what you are doing and post there?

Your too unconventional for both of those subreddits so Id have expected you to have been banned I'm sorry to say.

Id not just looks for any thing you can post in that's about food also, find anything around eating strange stuff, gross, or even noises for eating uncooked meat the texture etc..

You could try and do a creative thing as well where you have popular dishes but it's all raw. Like a Sunday dinner type meal set up.

You could even do compare different mince types 5% - 25% fat. The different processed meat types, mince from different shops, buy a mincer and mince your own raw mince. That sort of thing so you have a bit of a twist instead of just eating it raw.

Here is an idea.

What if you make a smash burger and then cook it.

THEN once it's cooked and done. Edit the video so it plays in reverse? So it looks like your uncorking your meat till you have your perfect smash paddy in the pan and serve that up. You could do that with all the meat you eat.

It also gives you a bit of a twist and maybe something different to what anyone else is doing? Would be great little shorts as well. I think people would share and get behind that rather than you just fist munching some mince...

Out of curiosity, which community rule of r/Foodporn did you violate?
