Vacation Time - Summer is sneaking up fast, anything fun this year?

So, basically, what are you planning for vacation this year?

Well this is a tough one..

Every year in October we go and do 4 nights using Forest Holidays.

My wife works in education so during school holidays, holidays are expensive and we have good tastes.. So the issue is she likes all inclusive because she wants me to have a break from cooking (not that it matter) and I hate people.

So we try to get a villa with private pool at hotels that offer all inclusive.

We paid out 19k for a holiday but out dogs have been unwell and we have been deferring the holiday. This year was last chance so I gave the holiday to my friend to use up who has had troubled times.

THEN my dog goes and dies as If it was some kind of lesson. My other dog is now on the way out she does not have long.

So we are looking again for holiday now. I told my wife going all inclusive is just for morons. Me having 10-14-18 nights off cooking when I do it all the rest of the year is no real break anyway and I don't see the point. So she is hunting for a villa at the moment.

I don't know where budget is 10-15k including flights. See what we find for the 4 of us, once the other dog has passed away holidays will become more normal.

Its tough as I've been all over the world so I don't really care. I hate people as well. So more isolated the cabin or villa the better.

Nah, my brother is away right now with his wife. GF is going to see family abroad. Parents will probably be going down south to visit family too at some point. So I am actually looking forward to a bit of peace and quiet at home for a change.

Maldives again (yay!) cuz visa run, have some prospect that wants multiple services, maybe the sale will close and I will pay with this... Maldives are actually cheapest for me rn (seriously) because it's closest (so cheap plane ticket) and these smaller islands aren't that expensive (for Maldives) so all the brokies go there . If I had a choice I'd stay home, fuck, I'd prefer to save in this recession but visas are visas. Hope they'll let me back in and I won't have to go somewhere else .

If you want to visit my farm you need two ferrets if not can't allow you not allowed on the property every delivery driver knows my terms need two ferrets or I don't accept deliverys .

I moved GP and pharmacy over both refusing to get two ferrets but now my new one lady got two ferrets after my ferret talk plus my doctor he got 10 ferrets.

Corfu it looks like we are heading to. Wife is just trying to secure flights before we book this for 12 nights. It has a villa close to it so not totally on our own but it ticks all boxes between us so will see.

I could do with a break to be honest even if I just go up mountain and sleep in a tent with my son for a few nights
