As yoga day initiative why not make it a habit to make this thread a habit henceforth to post quality exercises so the community can benefit as we already have a good amount of people who drink but don't exercise
Let's make this a repository and make this a habit of posting yoga poses videos or other beneficial exercises that will help us stay fit as we all know body and mind connection is so important![]()
Yes that would be more suited in the journey as that would make more senseYes, This is Exactly what my mind triggers to Start something like "Daily Yoga Pose a Day"

I know your not regular with the meditation but curious what changes or experiences you have benefited with when you did meditate?I don't practice yoga but I do meditate sometimes![]()
The main reason I started meditating was because I do it after my workouts every morning and there's just this calm feeling I get from meditating for about 20 minutes after my morning workouts before going for a cold bathI know your not regular with the meditation but curious what changes or experiences you have benefited with when you did meditate?
Also, what's stopping you from not doing it on a regular basis?
Yes, I do Surya namaskar..
But not on the daily basis,
This international Yoga day reminds me to continue practice Yoga..

No chance not reallyis there any relation between yoga and long hair/beard?
is there any relation between yoga and long hair/beard?
Very true. The Father of Yoga is Maharishi Patanjali ( Ancient India )
His style is Long hair and long beard .. Also, Most of ancient Indian Rishis, Gurus leave their hair and beard to grow longer.. So I guess, people who follows him likes to have long hair and beard..

Once upon a Time, I too left my hair and beard to grow like 3 years.. But my parents especially dad scolds me daily to cut it da, pls cut da, cut da.. Likely whenever I faces him
Hey, I like long hair and long beard Style so much.. Not willing to cut until my inner self says..
Later, One-day I surprised them by hair cut and my father is the one who got so much happier..![]()
I think your father distribute sweets to the neighbours for showing his happiness.Later, One-day I surprised them by hair cut and my father is the one who got so much happier..![]()
Very true.
I seen lots of Yoga men with long hair and beards pretty common I found.
Makes sense.Yeah, I followed my intuition.. the feeling or understanding that makes you believe or know that something is true without being able to explain why.
My intuition says, Don't cut the hair or beard.. Whoever said..
I respect my Dad,
I obey all his words.. Except this Hair Matter
Bcoz of intuition, I can't explain them.. But
I even told him, This is the only thing which am not obeying.. Don't insist me to cut hair.. It's my personal.. But people around my dad tells like "why your son looking like this, tell'm to be like decent or don't he obey dads word or something likely..
It's none of their business, I really hate such people telling to my dad about my hair? WTF.. It's my hair, my wish, but Why? I don't know.. Ufff..
At last, I cut my long hair
I really missed it..
Ive planned to post Yoga video's with the long hair, beard Style.. But sadly, it doesn't happened!
Makes sense.
For me I grow the beard sometimes as part of religion reason for why do it but for
me if men want to grow beard or facial hair or long hair go for it no issue or keep hair short or something else do it.
Haha.. Maybe but I didn't asked him..I think your father distribute sweets to the neighbours for showing his happiness.![]()
Yeah, rishi knot hairstyle. Sikhs are also doing that. Buddhist monks shave their heads, this is actually connected to some occult practices. Shaving the head + doing these practices shortens your life span but gives powers fast. Sadhus wear dreadlocks to symbolize renounciation, shaved head also symbolizes non-attachment in buddhism but there are also practices around it. Generally for occult practices you might want to do something with your hair, there are variations on this, no one only way. Covering the head for ritual or all the time if you're a priest is a thing too (cliche pop images of fortune tellers with covered heads & crystal ball, cliche 'ritual garb' look with cloaks covering people's heads, hell even pop images of nerds/hackers in hoodies covering their headsis there any relation between yoga and long hair/beard?
