Yeah, I think that's a widget, so let me add that in as it would be very useful to have.

Update: Yeah, it's a widget. Give me a few minutes to add it to the sidebar.

Update 2: It's been added in. Unlike the "What's Hot" widget, I didn't make any custom changes to it to remove the "started by" and reply count information. Let me know if there are any issues or further suggestions. :)

A widget was nice and works well for now since there are not that many threads created, a solution for being able to see way more than the 7 latest threads like the "New posts" tab but with the latest threads would be a lot nicer in the long run. But thanks for the widget.

Clicking "Latest Threads" will bring you to a page where you can view more.

I can look into expanding it to more than 7 at some point, though. I think it would be ideal to show more threads.

I could definitely expand it out if I made the same adjustments I did to the "What's Hot" widget.

@dopiois, can you tell me what you think of it now? I set the limit just for the "Latest Threads" widget to be 15.

(Just for my own reference later, I need the data widget key in order to remove that kind of information from just the widget without affected other elements on the forum)

No, you're right. When you click "Latest threads" on the widget, it takes you to the "What's New" page and shows new posts but not new threads like the widget.

... Why does it work that way by default? I like Xenforo, but some of these default features are weird.

There's even a thread about it on the Xenforo board forums where someone is wondering why it works this way.

Someone in that posted a solution I can implement. Let me mark this suggestion as unresolved for now and I'll look at fixing this as it's a pretty annoying issue in terms of usability.

I tried looking into that at one point, but I was worried about making this forum look too much like the other one.

But yeah, I liked that feature as well.

Home page sucks! :)
If you build forum atleast 10% popular as BHW, there will be fights whos post should bump to home page. SEO seller or accounts seller and "the lounge" spam.
I am sometimes entering on homepage there and I see "How do you like to masturbate?" xD
I was proposing to BHW to remove that homepage and make pure forum, nobody listen.

Now it's good theme ;)
Only these colors, but don't worry, there are even worse forums like swapd, there I cannot find anything xD

I was talking about that homepage BHW have, it really sucks, you need to dig to categories and you are bombarded with some shit posts from start. Google bot is bombarded with that shit too ;)
So I like there isn't anything like that. Categories rules! xD

Yes, their homepage is pretty meh. Somedays, i log in, and i see 1 person with 30 BSTs filled the entire homepage.
That just makes me close the website and go do something else.
Homepage needs to be 100% customized to the user.
Based on the sections you want.
That's how it should be really.
REALLY tailored to the user.

That's the weird thing they allow last days too. The guy have single website, selling accounts and for every account like Facebook, Gmail, Instagram he have different BST and bumping same minute :D

Not to be that guy, but saw you changed the new thread widget to the 5 latest threads, there must be another way than that widget since there is way more new threads started and we need a simple way to catch up on the new threads just like the new posts tab, please see if you can find a solution of this.

There are a couple of options I can think of right now:
  • I can increase the number from 5 to 15, but it might looked cluttered.
  • There might be an option to display them at the bottom of each page instead of the side, so I can do that, change them to display as standard thread lists, and increase the number.
There might be other solutions to this, but I’ll try them out later.
