What is a legitimate web3 project, and who verifies its legitimacy? You cannot guarantee it, definitely nobody else on OO could either, so the group would still basically be on a "trust me" basis unless you left some information out of your opening post.

I’m not talking about a call/signal group.
Those kinds of things are for those who are slow in the head.

I’m talking about an alpha group.
Just a group where investors with size can just share projects that seem good.

E.g.
Everyone in the group has at least $100k in cryptos.
Just a place for ppl to share interesting projects. No buy signals. No memes, no shitters.
Everyone with own due diligence.

No, not 'I threw $100' . But I also don't own $100k. Which is precisely what caused my banking problems in the first place - too broke to just get offshore account at HSBC for example but def interested in investing more than $100 lol. That said, I'm so noob at this that I'm not sure if I won't blow something so maybe it's better to just invest in my own business, idk. I'd love to learn more about investing but it's hard to get real information. I like your posts and you appear knowledgeable though.

Yeppp, this can happen. Not really interested in signals group, but discussion - maybe. I'd like to learn. Like I said, I'm a noob so can't contribute too much to the discussion eh. If I were to invest it'd be way more than couple houndred, though. But then, this also attracts scammers . Literally had romance scammers appearing out of nowhere because of this . Jeez. This is supposed to go towards ad spend or investments lol.

Seems that a lot of you guys are misinterpreting/just don't understand what a crypto alpha chat is.
The idea of alpha chats is NOT to have clear buy/sell signals.

The idea behind it is, is that when there are hundreds of promising Web3 projects launching daily, one individual can not possibly find/hear/research them all.
People in the alpha chat can share info about promising projects in the chat, and everyone in the group is free to research the project themselves further BEFORE making the decision to invest in them.

Once again,
the idea of an alpha chat is NOT
"buy this crypto now".

The idea of alpha chats is more like,
"found this promising project. mainly focuses on tokenizating RWAs. got backed by mastercard and raised $10 Mil at $100 Mil FDV. TGE in Q1 2026".

Would you believe that last month in September, I did an 8x investment as well as an 3x investment. And that was also with 5-figure size.
Heard about Aster (Binance backed/supported perp dex) from an ALPHA friend. My Aster position did 8x. Aster sits now at 15 Bil FDV.
Then heard about Hemi, where I got a 3x. Hemi now sits at 1 Bil FDV.

My last months trades made percentage-wise more than what your ETFs or ISA crap does in someone's lifetime investing.

DCA into BTC, ETH and BNB and you're golden.

30-40% of crypto investment portfolio into playing with 50-200 Mil. market cap coins.
Trend investing is the easiest way to get into this 'game'.

Ai was a big thing for a while.
A few weeks ago a new trend came, which was/is perp dex's.

I am personally speculating that tokenization will be the next 'trend'.

If you want to speculate that possibly upcoming trend, I'd advise to look into the top 300 market cap cryptos and find which ones' have something to do with tokenization.

There is no paywall, no investment requirement to join the group.

Just a requirement that everyone in the chat would be preferred to have at least six-figures in cryptos.
That should work as an assessment that each person in the chat at least halfway knows what they are talking about, and eliminates the possibility of the chat being spammed by "$100 investor sirs" with crap.

Like, if someone can't even make 100k with cryptos, why would I listen to their project shills when they obviously don't even result into anything.

Advisors will just tell you the risk, they get paid no matter if your investment goes up or down, it's called risk.

What they have if a record if anything. Even then that record can be flawed if you look at it over 1 week, 1 month, 1 year or 10 years the record is based on time, as that's the foundation to most investments and success is growth over time.

It's like saying I shouldn't hire an accountant to manage my books because they dont have the same level business as myself.

Crypto markets differ from TradFi.
Crypto markets are new, pretty much just started in 2013.

It's mostly a speculation based high-volatility market. If you have an information edge (e.g. good alpha channels/friends), anyone can make it with very minimal starting capital. Crypto markets are known for extreme yields.

Thus, if someone doesn't even have e.g. 100k in cryptos, they most likely don't have an edge of any kind in the markets. If they don't have any kind of edge, what substance are they to an alpha channel? Nothing, just leeching.

I know a lot of high networth individuals from this forum and BHW. Both forums are based around Internet Marketing.
The chances for a high NW individual who spends time in IM forums, that they are investing in cryptos is pretty high.

Even I started and made my first low to mid six figures with IM-based businesses, but just later fully converted to spend all of my time in crypto.

Why would it be that unordinary to find similar individuals as myself from these forums.

The only private groups worthy of joining that I personally know of (and I'm not already part of), all require either a BAYC, Crypto Punk, Hypurr or Pudgys.
If possible, I'd rather not pay $60k for an NFT to join a group chat.
