Somehow I seem to have this in Sri Lanka too, as in - mostly rain and thunder. So I'm just... Drowning.

Had something along these lines as photo wallpaper in my apartment in Poland. Complete with matching foresty curtains, lol.

Mainly sanding floor.

Complaining about my strained hernia (sanding floor not helping)

After sanding filling an varnish floor.

Wifes leaving do this weekend also so no drinking till she's home Saturday

Happy Diwali . Yeah, I had trouble sleeping and when I thought I'd finally fall asleep at 4 or 5am I heard this LOUD music and drums . I went on the balcony to see and there were some fireworks in the distance . Jeez, I'm so sleepy .

Yes true.. so much crackers were burn these 10 days. Starting from today..

Done the 40,80 and 120 sanding this morning (fixed hangover)

Taken wife to her leaving do and just done the floor filling

Tomorrow now will sand it all back again at 120 then 3 or 4 coats of varnish..

If it dries might sand later will see

Ha! Yeah its all salvaged / used materials the floor came out of a house (original feature) 1903 why people rip this stuff up and replace it I never know.

It goes back down with gaps and that unless you spend 1000s of hours machining the blocks all I do is clean up the sides with a chisel and then glue them down. Once you get to the 80 and 120 sanding stages you keep the dust and mix with a resin type glue and create an exact match filler for the gaps.

Once its dry and sanded again you can hardly notice the little openings

Made an order on Friday for a new 17k USD watch (went to debt to buy it) so I can larp better to the guy above.
For the watch guys here: Rolex 36mm Datejust blue diamond dial. Basic I know, but I'll allow 1 Rolex in my collection.

Also went on a small trip to Sweden to decompress.

Lovely weekend so far.
