1. The shawshank redemption
2. The LOTR trilogy (shut it, it counts as one)
3. Django unchained

I am not a movie guy but what lesson did you guys learn from watching those movies?
That there are easier ways to destroy a ring than to go to mordor by foot, but they don't make that good of a book.

Department Q. First three movies. I watched them all on the same day because they're so good.

This freaked me out in moments.

I am a fan of thriller.

Black Mirror (netflix series), Squid Game (netflix series). These two I am a big fan of.

That's from LOTR though what about the others 😁
I dunno.. the whole point of watching a movie (for me, at least) is to turn my brain off for a couple of hours.
If I wanted to learn I'd probably have done something different ;-)

I'm more of a tv series person... Idk, Equilibrium? Doomsday (UK 2008)? Don't ask me why I always watch something about armed forces overthrowing the government *cough*.

Now that I think about it Catwoman with Halle Berry was nice. Damn, these cosmetics companies have terrible PR.

That's a tought one. I'm inclined to say 'The Disaster Artists' for being the only film to make me laugh everytime i've seen it. Also 'Barbarian' for being both terrifying and hilarious almost simultaneously.

The Mummy and The Fifth Element also top action comedies.

Also the plot twists in some of the old M Night Shyamalan films were great. Especially 'The Others' and 'The Village'.

I also like some of the animated film: Mosnters Ince, Chicken Run films and The Wallace and Gromit films.

But top three though all in all though are probably:
1) The Highwaymen
2) Public Enemies
3) The Infiltrator

Yeah sam here all in all. If you like that theme i'd recommend 'Years and Years' it's exactly that - attempts to challenge government oppression and overcome a dystopian future set in Great Britain

Happy Gilmore - happy place

Hot Shots - chicken can replace an arrow in a pinch

Shawshank - patience and playing the long game pays off

Alien
Alien
Alien

Cannot limit it to 3:

But being an Adam and Dustin fan boy my take

Top 3 Adam Sandler movies
1. Uncut Gems
2. You Don't Mess with the Zohan (feel good movie and i can rewatch for the nostalgia, it brings back watching this in the college dorm in France with a bunch of people smoking weed and cooked some food after)
3. Happy Gilmore 1 and 2 (I like happy movies where the protagonist wins :D)

Top 3 Dustin Hoffman Movies
1. Tootsie (1982) - Master class
2. Kramer vs. Kramer (1979) - Its something else, hits you hard differently on every 5 years rewatch . Saw it first when i was 17 yo
3. Wag the Dog (1997) - Nice political Satire with multiple undertones

Dustin and Adam combo: The Meyerowitz Stories

---
Top 3

1. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (This movie hits me differently because i went into the rabbit hole of documentaries about the Family, Manson Murder etc prior to watching it)
2. The Irishman
3. Bullet Train

---

Series I am watching now are Slow horses, The morning Show, Shrinking, Severance and waiting for Rick and Morty

Recommend these for any one that love bit of comedy, drama and some action

If you havent watched Tootsie this is a spoiler
