Edit: jokes aside, point is too many single points of failure. The irony is none of these guys are actually proper tier one ISPs

That being said, they said it was caused by an unusual spike in traffic. I did wonder whether this instance, it had anything to do with the Aisuru botnet that was pummeling azure at 15.72 Tbps. Cloudflare was also getting involved in efforts against it.

CloudFlare have apologised for the outage which they say was caused by a 'bad database query' and one which cost the average CFD broker $1.58 billion.

Wonder whether they will get any compensation in McDonald's or Starbucks coupons this time :unsure:
