We already had this 2025 Reflections thread a few days ago, and I thought it would be great to share our goals and resolutions for 2026.

What are you trying to improve on? Your health? Your work ethic? Something else?

I'll start:
  • Read more books (2025 was rough in that regard, lol)
  • Save more money to invest (in stocks, etc.)
  • Avoid spending money on bullshit I don’t need
  • Spend more time with my friends and family
  • Spend more time on the forum and try to get a lot more members to join

Now it’s your turn. What are your resolutions for 2026, if you even have any? I am curious to hear them.

Personally not a fan of the New Years resolutions.

I find the whole thing to be fake, any problems you got today you got tomorrow, any goals you missed or need to start tomorrow you can do today.

Changing the year has zero effect.

I find it a little different where business is involved as I work in quarters Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 and there's cycles with each of those, so we rotate to learn and grow and adjust for the following quarter each cycle.

Like I said in another thread... I probably spend too much time on forums and social media nowadays, which wasn't always the case. Not going too dramatic with this and not closing my accounts or anything but I think it probably would do me good if I learned to balance out the positive side (some basic information and market research I'm getting from these interactions) while not spending extreme amounts of time with people. Daily is just too much. I see a lot of folks here use forums in more balanced ways, you see them pop into their journey threads every once in a while but they're not wasting time daily. It's a me-issue and I should work on it, especially since it's not like it was couple years ago anymore - I'm not fooling around exchanging fun memes in between sales calls. There's barely any sales calls nowadays and people that used to be funny started to be very serious without a reason and having crazy expectations. So yeah, let's try to do this in some balanced way. + If I get some YouTube action going I'm 100 fuckin % turning moderation on in comments, fuck free speech, I'll just fuckin delete all the zealots that piss me off.

So.. what's your next 4 quarters' resolutions? Grump.

I need to find my 2025 list and come up with excuses for why I haven't accomplished anything before I write the 2026 resolutions.

Get more ferrets adopted.
Spread the ferrets' message around the world
Release another song
Buy some gold, silver or other things
Buy a second property
Get a Golden Visa
Get a Diabetic pump
Maybe win an election next year.

If I win the election, I will go down a different corruption route my only use for my powers is to get you both two ferrets each @TheVigilante @Dopious make it law everyone with your name must own two ferrets.

Idiot, everyone must have those.

Nope. Idiots do New Years like lets do Dry January, or join gym for 28 days or some other crap. New Years is a perfect example of humans not having will power.

So.. what's your next 4 quarters' resolutions? Grump.

I don't mean it like that.

You know some people set out plans for business and we "have to do that next year" or "must remember to do that" or come up with some wild scheme, although I'm probably guilty of that. I don't tend to work like that we just target and focus on quarters and seasons.

So for us... Hitting into Q1 we need to do a major shift in emails, we started to improve on that last year however the fizzle of "effort" I felt going into the more informational side of emails vs the transactional side fell off a cliff.

Q2 is silly season we already covered that by introducing new stock in Q3 last year.

Q3 is quiet time for us but we have a new brand launch for that this year so the aim is to improve on sales during our quiet time, not looking for serious gain ill take 2-5% improvement on previous years to start with before gearing up.

Q4 back into Christmas and Holidays. This December has been the best ever so plan is to take January, figure out whats changed and build on that and improve on it.
