I prefer to do things myself when it comes to building a website but I will pay someone to build one if I just can't find the time.

What about you guys?

I'm too hard to deal with

had to figure my own way out

Are you designing it and then getting someone to build it or are you totally hands off?

It's defiantly a time management thing.

Sometimes or more often than not you reach a point where it's better to get someone else to do a job because of the time vs output of it.

depends on the complexity of it and depends on my time/urgency.
But i would rather do it myself if time allows.

Pay someone. 100%.

Small edits are fine here or there but generally, I prefer have a couple of people on my team that each does what they do best.

I really enjoy making websites so I do myself.

Like, probably it'd be wise to delegate more tasks but as a linux user I really have no excuse to not do simple websites or other configuration myself

nowadays it's very easy to build a website, those AI tools can do 99% of the job, unless it's a complex website with too many details, I would do myself

It really depends on what kind of website it is. Simple websites with a few pages can easily be done by yourself, but if you’re talking about a website with lots of pages, plugins, etc., then I would rather pay someone to do it.

What stack everyone here building their sites in?

Seriously with tools like v0 these days why would someone pay for a website to be built, a day or two tucking around on it (and it’s fun) will churn out the perfect website for you.
Interesting. It's static, no? Maybe less hassle than to do Wordpress and Simply Static.

It blows wordpress away imo, I've used it for all sorts now and they're really high quality. You can build all sorts of web apps with it, if you can code it's an even more powerful tool. I don't code however with the right prompts and a little basic web design terms it'll knock out great sites for me, you could sell the sites not a problem - knocking one up in 2-3 hours.

It's pretty cool too because they host everything for you or you can download the files, I just let them host and then hook a domain up to the live version over there and use the free ssl certs from Letsencrypt for privacy.

I always have someone else do it for me these days. Its good to focus on business and finance side of things imo.

What I do these days is, buy a theme on Codecanyon and then import a design I like. Have my team edit and create content around the site.
