Yeah darts is massive over here. It's just not a sport I've gotten into or really fancied really.

I play a ton of snooker and just enjoy watching it I know how tough some shots can be applies to golf as well. It's also something relaxing about this time of year having something semi quiet on, lights down, fire going, the masters in the winter is perfect!

The guy who owns darts now owns snooker hes trying to make it more like darts, there's a faster version which is a bit more loud, it has changed over the years. Prize pots got smaller and bigger again.. Still I remember the days when they could smoke and play drinking a pint of beer!

Totally different now with the asian sponsored water lol

That's funny because my father always comments about how dart players always drank beer and now it's just water

I actually did watch snooker a few times and I like the strategy aspect of it. I used to play 8-ball at the bar but I was a terrible player. It's probably almost impossible to find a snooker table and ball set around here.

So I'm back on it. Alsmost all week now.

Wife hardly drinks but when she's on term break will have a drink most if not every night.

Only 1. Obviously I'm a good husband and cant get her drink alone as it would be rude, plus I'm a good man so I do my bit.

But she drinks that 1 over 3 hours I cant.

I'm trying to get her to drink wine with me but I end up having the bottle anyway. Would be easier.

Shes back in work Monday and I'm looking forward to having Monday - Thursday off the booze.


Day off work tomorrow. On vodka now. Not a mental session so that Friday night.

Tomorrow chill day. Food out with the family at noon. Nice relaxing Friday and weekend.

Working my through the 3ltrs of vodka gifted to me 1.5ltr left.

Got ahead with my research and dissertation. More than I thought so decided to take the weekend off. Only nursing pint at our on campus pub and bar. Would prefer venturing in to town as I prefer a more real local boozer to the onsite stuff even though it's chill here too, it's always full of prentious gobshites trying to speak with an exaggerated received pronunciation accent.

I would kick back and chill with one or two of the local lads here who start there weekends early, prefer drinking at the accomodations starting at about noon almost without fail with beers and then a pubcrawl in the evening but neither are free and I can't be assed heading all the way in to town or heading home again for the weekend.

Maybe you could buy it This reminds me of a guy not far from where I live. He purchased his local that was shutting down just so it didn't interrupt his drinking routine. He was a daily drinker mind you, not a weekend drinker like yourself, and was a trust fund rich kid with fuck all else to do all day. But assuming that is the case, it be worth a gander if it is a good gig, recently popular and has potential for better profitability.
