Github has always been a great way to rank for certain search phrases. I use to put the front-end build code on Github with a link from the main website and then a disclaimer in the README of the homepage URL (and sales pitch), and Github would frequently outrank the main page and often at the #1 spot for actionable search phrases.
This guy had no website until 2 weeks ago, did a bit of SEO and is wondering why it's not up there yet. He can also report the impersonation site to the Google Web Safety team, there are forms to fill out, and with the reach of his application I'm sure it'll get expedited (it seems he may have already, but it takes some time). He is a dumb ass for not putting up a simple static landing page on the root domain to begin with.
