That's great, I'm assuming you got residence because you bought real estate? Will check their current visa rules again, although costs of living there are out of my budget. I remember last time I was checking they kicked out everyone on what they had closest to nomad / independent means visa. Just like what happened to us in Sri Lanka on extended stay on short term visas. Maybe they changed something too during this time like Lanka.

no i got the company visa for 10 years when deposting 50k to a mauritius bank .I don't invest in bigger overpriced real estate for foreigners with minimal 500k investment.I make more money investing it somewhere else than buying such RE.I just bought a small appartment if we need to move quickly somehwere and as proof for the tax department in europe

If you have a good business plan apply to open an international company there and you will be only 3% taxed and receive for yourself and whole family a 10 year visa/residency

Yeah yeah, it's a thing with these visas I noticed... Ie in Malaysia you can find some cheap nice houses but you can't buy that as a foreigner, you can only buy waaay overpriced condos. What a scam. What you did sounds very reasonable.
