We went to the atm and grocery shopping today (like... Irl, not delivered! Didn't do that since forever.) and I feel so sick from the heat that I think we'll go celebrate Vesak tomorrow evening, not today. I mean typical Sri Lanka - holiday takes couple days . So I'll just go another day after I rest .

Sister in law came over today so had half day and cooked food.

BBQ and my go to pit beans love them Things getting serious with her boyfriend so looks like wedding on the cards

tomorrow or today, daughters boyfriend coming over so im taking him shooting and showing him where I like to dig holes in the forrest until then I drank some vodka and made some bbq rub for pulled pork for bbq tomorrow

Drinking 3 beers erryday and it slows me down like it should.

Yelling at everyone around as usual. Behavior doesn't change easily. Time for therapy or I'll end up repeating the same pattern for ages.

This bad 45 year old girl would convince me to do civilized stuff.

I don't have anything specific planned for this weekend, but let's see...

I'm still playing Chrono Trigger, so I'm definitely going to be continuing that. I can't get around to it most days, but I really like the story of it and want to see where it goes.

Other than that, I've been shifting my focus toward weight lifting lately. I had to stop because of that wrist sprain from last month. But it's mostly better, so I can lift weights again. The main thing is, I refuse to lift weights on an injury if there's any pain.

I found the core benefit of keto diet is... more meat and less opportunity to eat sugar. But is it useful? I don't find it useful. The tradeoff doesn't make sense to me. I can just not eat sugar wtf.

I messed up my weekend!
I forgot coding isn't for me.
Instead of outsourcing it somehow, somewhere, sometime...
I wrote it all myself... and I did it for way too long. Took me like 8 hours.
Why 8 hours... because I'm not a fcking coder by profession. And the type of problem I dealt with isn't something obvious like adding a line of css.
And I shouldn't be because I have too big picture on my mind!

And all I was doing was saving a 3-step conversation from Gemini to generate hundreds of thumbnails in unique style.
All for FREE!!!

Well, because it's oddly coded in "modern frameworks" (frontned bullshit basically), I had to spend so much time to disassemble it!!!
Claude Code had no idea what's going it. I doubt a typical vibe coder would keep on doing it. You need to at least know what devtools are. Hahaha.

Stupid job! I enjoyed writing this post.

I learned 3 things:
1. I usually forget to drink water when I do something cognitively straining.
2. I don't take enough breaks.
3. Coding is like masturbation with your brain. If you take intense sessions longer than 10 minutes long, it's gonna hurt.

And maybe Claude would get it if I wasn't so strained and dehydrated.
I only had problem with saving "blob" format file because it would disappear on refresh and you had to find a pattern manully.
So Claude couldn't get it.

When you get seriously dehydrated, and manage to hydrate yourself, being hydrated feels like profound wisdom. It feels like enlightenment.
