I was talking with someone who said he managed to snag .com domains for about three dollars some years back. Don’t know if I believe him tho.

Feels like it’s unthinkable these days to get that kind of deal with the way prices are now but ya know.

Anyone else manage to snag some cheap domains recently and for how much?

I got .pl domain for 0 PLN for 1 year on nazwa.pl

If you need domains for long term, search for those cheap for 2nd and 3rd year.

You can find deals for about $25 for 3 years

Now, tell me how to get cheap links.

I can afford 100 domains easily.

Otherwise I'm driving traffic from YouTube. Fck TikTok and this bullshit traffic source, I'm not following that. Instagram more likely... Pinterest, Telegram, SEO... I think I'll make stack like that.

Maybe $5 but that was a long time ago.

If you use Namecheap, you can try using this discount code that @Spy shared last year here on OO as it still works. However, that code @Dopious shared above seems like a better deal if you're not set on a specific domain registrar.

Probably might have found a loophole you never know?

I got free (sub)domain from site botnet owners use 😂. Looked kinda like a real domain and was fine for using it on social media, no seo though. One day it got flagged as infected on fb, I wonder why 😂, so I bought a .net. I didn't have to pay for couple years though.

Back in the day, there were some domains you could get for free. However, they were only free for one year, and the renewal fees were very expensive. That's how they made their money. The hosting provider was called Freenom. After checking, it seems they have changed their business model.

.tk was in my times. I'm only 28. It was 20 years ago. I used to feel special at school for being an internet domain owner at 8.

$11 :(

I didn’t know there were so many deals for domains.
This is a digital thing. For digital things there are always deals.

But it's not even for digital things.

70% off deals are pretty common.

If you want to save, you see it.

You can live off few bucks just by being cheap.

Heck, you can even have free workforce.

Me as extreme money saver, found out houses can be as cheap as $10k. It's insane as well. The most expensive thing is land, but still you can find a lot cheaper than average market price.

People don't know how to save in general.

I got a bunch of .com's from IONOS for a dollar. I don't know if they're still running this deal, but I also got a few 4-for-$1's -- i.e .com, .store, .info, .online

I also got a $1 .com from a German registar -- I think it was something like checkdomain or whatever

Edit:

Here's a good resource: https://tldes.com/com
