The platform powering over 25 million websites has announced a massive organizational restructure. Elementor is cutting approximately 100 roles - amounting to 30% of its total workforce, with the majority of the layoffs impacting its Israel-based team.

In an official statement, leadership described the workforce reduction as a strategic "reset." The company aims to aggressively pivot its infrastructure and team to prepare for the next generation of AI-driven website creation.

Tbh I could never get elemtor to work like it always seemed clunky AF.

Maybe I'm special.

Newsflash: just a regular normal, I hate it too.
Do you see alternative other than manual coding using prompt engineering?

well, I think it'd be best to use prompt engineering and get whatever you want using bootstrap

I'm not making websites right now, but as I started a 0 employee company, I can learn a lil bit about this and show it to people on YouTube.

Use the regular Gutenberg editor with blocks.
I used it once. I abused it though and went to... custom HTML. So instead of using blocks I started coding. It took me hours to code something and I checked how people interact with what I coded. Surprise, there was ZERO difference in conversion rate.

So it makes sense to use just basic blocks and not try hard.
