Cannot Resolve Scoreboard not updating?

Everyone apart from @Rem and Spy has the wrong score displayed.


Also I cannot tag anyone in this section. At least it doesn't give the drop down menu to choose which person you want to tag.

Let me take a look at that. I recently updated it to remove admins, but I may have messed something up there.

It's giving me the drop-down options to choose who to tag.

That's another odd one. Maybe it's because of how often I'm updating the live site right now; it could've caused some issue.

Try clearing your cache and cookies for OO and see if that fixes the issue.

The scores appear to be right now.

There's this weird issue with the trophies where they don't get awarded right away and the score doesn't update when it should. It might be related to that.

Until we upgrade to a better server, it'll have to remain activity-based instead of server-based, but it is something I'm aware of.

Actually, it's because they're awarded based on a cron job that runs every 40 minutes.

You might kind of remember an issue on The Forum That Shall Not Be Named where someone would get 15 posts and then still not be able to start a conversation. It usually took about 5 minutes for this to update, and it's because there was a cron job that ran every 5 minutes to update users from Newbie to Newbie+ so they could start a conversation. Same kind of thing here with the trophies, except 40 minutes is a lot.

Again, when we update to a better server, I'll adjust this to every 5-10 minutes or so.

I'm going to mark this one as "Cannot resolve" for now. The neat thing about this catregorisation using prefixes is that I can click on the prefix and revisit this issue at any time. This way, when we get better servers, I can find this again and change the cron job to run more often.
