Remember how I said in another thread that I just accepted every request on Linkedin to make it look like I have more connections?

This is why you don't do that:

Look at this needy guy. It's like dude, she's not interested in you, quit sending follow-up messages.

The last one is gold. "I messaged you a few times... where shall we go from here?" This looks like the kind of thing a depressed spouse sends when their partner when they keep getting the silent treatment.

I hit the mute button on that one.

He probably thinks the cold email follow ups work as well, because he bought a LinkedIn email list which as well bombs you 50,000 a time but also does the same on IM. You know.

Gerry here's my shit offer you never asked for.

Gerry you probably didn't see my last message so here it is again.

Gerry if you dont want me to send any more emails just say.

week later

Gerry lets connect and chat about some bollocks you clearly don't want - obviously paraphrasing the last bit.

Mute button is okay..
You can also block the sender to prevent further messages
But then I'd lose the connection if I block them. Maybe I'm being stubborn here, though...

I'll block him if he gets too annoying. It's kind of funny because they usually give up after a couple of weeks.

Sometimes I wonder who buys anything from these offers, but then I remember how I used to just spam Clickbank affiliate links on Yahoo Answers and get sales. It's like, who's buying a Spanish-speaking guide from an off-topic link on Yahoo Answers? :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, typical. That's nothing... After that they usually reach out on my skype or whatsapp xDDDD. Like, dude - what are you following up on? xD I also get a lot of fake job offers/clients from there with malware attached, watch out what you click on.

I am getting these kinds of messages on a daily basis...

The cold LinkedIn outreach is getting out of hand lately. LinkedIn has become the 'home' of spam and scams. (I also receive plenty of 'crypto' project offers needing a 'project manager,' where they embed a trojan within their GitHub code that checks your Chrome sessions, cookies, and local storage.)
