We all are aware of moonlighting but the story of how this guy got caught is astonishing surely

How many of you really have two jobs or have done something similar in the past and did you end up getting caught?

Do you think moonlighting must be allowed considering you are doing the task that has been told to you?

Bruh.

These are b2b contract usually anyway, it's funny that these 'employers' expect any kind of exclusivity. But 13 jobs?? Wait, 14 because nail salon too. Well. That explains low quality of software nowadays... Workers are focused af with 14 jobs.

xDDDDD

This person took it to a whole other level!

I did this with the last job at points as I sometimes needed more money.

As @SilverClouds said, these places have you doing contract work and expect you to work just for them, except you don't have any actual rights that an employee would have. I've done this kind of contractor work in the past without any issues, but the expectations from the companies doing this have gotten a bit wild lately. They expect you to work exclusively for them, work specific hours, micro-manage you at odd hours, join the company meetings, engage with the co-workers, and they give you lame performance reviews; but you have no health insurance, general worker's rights, or job security because they can just terminate the contract at any point.

The biggest joke is when they try to make you sign a non-compete agreement, as a couple of companies have done to me in the past. It's like sir, I'm a contractor in California... this isn't legal nor is it enforceable...

I've avoided that shit just because I've avoided working with people directly rather with providing a service.

This I did sign it, I never knew if they hired a private investigator from Australia to check If I keep my promises in E Europe...I guess they didn't paid enough cause I surely wasn't working exclusively on their project.
