We only have the option to upload image file as Avatar..

It would be nice, if the avatar image in the Gif.

Example : My gif Avatar..,

Work as Gif..Here.. https://officeoutlaw.com/members/back2form.30/

Like everywhere we post in threads .. Would it possible? Suggestion..

I like gif avatars. Let me see if it's a built-in option.

It's not something I can add in right away, but definitely something I can look into at a later point.

Can we limit the animations in threads and maybe only show the animation in the profile?

It can potentially be very overwhelming, especially without further clarifications on animation speed, etc.

Are you talking about for avatars?

You can't have gifs for avatars, but if we did enable it, yeah, we might need to limit it to showing only when you click the avatar or when you view the profile.

I do have to keep in mind that not everybody has a fast internet connection.

Okay, because of the specifics with this one, it's not really feasible to add in at this moment.

As the community grows and we have this forum on better servers, definitely feel free to bump this so the idea can be revisited.
