I'll start by saying I'm not a fan of SEO tools. I find ALOT of the scoring or metrics are way way way off.

I think they only provide accurate scoring once you connect Web Master Tools (WMT). Or enough people in your niche has connected to them to give any real kind of close score.

So I tend to avoid them totally or just ignore the information. I even find the results for "keyword traffic" a joke Ahrefs for example gives a KW 100 searches p.m but we get over 2000 visits a month from that exact keyword. But that's another story.

Anyhow I'm on a mission to grow our search traffic by 100,000 (100k) a month. So on doing this I decided to take a look at what SemRush and Ahref without connecting to WMT gave as the best guess for our traffic, it's funny it's so low but for the purpose of my experiment and small project it works we got a figure they provide and now it's time to monitor and grow it. This again is a whole other story.

So looking around Ahrefs I've not logged in since 2022 there are some new features. I've never really tracked it one of the ones that caught my eye is the AI Content Level. Most of you probably seen this before. It's new for me. So shh.

Again talk about guessing or shit estimated or shitamating (trademark pending) where do they get this info from.

Very high, Moderate and Low. For pages that where all written by ME. Pages that are AI generated N/A or None. WTF is that about?

Maybe I'm an AI super computer tricked into thinking I'm human? BUT wtf Ahrefs. Talk about missing the mark totally. I can't spell the word grammar let alone use it correctly and my own content is flagged as AI? LOL

Another reason why I don't buy or trust these tools at all.

Ahrefs one said one of my money keywords was 300 searches per month. Yeah right try 13k 😂

All those tools in my niche are a total joke and waste of money. I guess that’s the same in many niches.

Relying on these things is just plain lazy and uninspired.

Yeah I've found the Ahrefs KW volume to be wildly off the mark.
I haven't tried their AI checker, but there's a few free ones online and they all said that my content was mainly AI. I guess I'm a robot, too.
I probably shouldn't tick that box the next time I get the prompt...
I agree though that a lot of these tools are quite shitty
