I put this in the AI category, but please move it if it’s not correct.

There was a huge AWS crash the other day and apparently AWS replaced 40% of their DevOps team with AI right before it happened.

In the reports, the company says the AI detects and fixes IAM permission errors instantly, rebuilds broken VPC or subnet configs, and rolls back failed Lambda deployments without human input.

AI implementation really needs to slow down or we’re gonna have a SkyNet situation.

Wow.. rarely a bad decision blows up in a company's face so fast.

Amazon is not the best technologically it seems.

Used them for some time.

They're unstable like a little child.

All the time changing rules.

Maybe Alibaba will take over.

Only use AWS with hacked accounts! Never give them money directly! They're overpriced!

As always they are just capitalising on people's conveniences often very slowly and insidiously. But if anyone is anti-AI it's very easy to a great extent, at least in personal life to just stop using it. Whole thing reminds me of this very powerful scene in a show about a dystopian tech-enslaved world in the near future telling everyone that the world around them is a result of their own doing!

Anti AI? That sounds like being a crack head.

It's almost like AI could've tabulated the success rates for itself. 😂

Read some splishsplash on another forum! The dude is all about AI. He claims AI is the best niche.
I think the same because I repeat what he says.

I haven't read his stuff recently but he's not totally wrong. AI is the future(or at least a very big part), whether we like it or not.

It's not necessarily about being "anti-AI" as a whole.

For me at least, it's more so about not allowing AI to control whole departments, companies, or make military decisions.

Yeah I agree, maybe 'anti-AI' wasn't the best way to put it like you say though, more about not putting the cart before the horse with all of it

AI still lacks some things, and that was made clear with the AWS crash. Oh well, see you at the next crash, I suppose.
