Under Consideration An "Ask the Staff" Thread

I've been in forums where there's a dedicated "Ask the Staff" thread, and it seems to work pretty well. Just somewhere to ask questions that can wait until someone gets around to answering them. A lot of it would be rule clarifications and things like that. It also ensures fewer questions are missed if people are directed to ask those questions in a dedicated thread. It also cleans some things up and keeps them in one place.

I don't mean suggestions, just questions.

I’ve not seen that before l, or at least not noticed it, but it sounds like an interesting idea.

I suppose we could add this as a thread in the site guides section, since that section is dedicated to further explaining rules and features on OO.

Yeah, this is the reality

Hopefully it can result in fewer tickets for the staff and not so many questions in the rule threads like another place.

If it's a thread, it leaves the option for regular members to answer as well. That can cause its own issues, but it's more good than bad in my experience. Mostly because it's senior members who choose to answer these threads, and any misinfo will be cleared up quickly.

Some will use it. Some will not. I do think it would help, though.

Almost. Maybe not what some people would ask a bloke with high heels and an Adam's apple at 3 am, but I think most forum-related questions are fair game.
