Having a few Asahi... a Japanese beer that's taken over the top spot from Peroni lately for me, messing around doing some memecoin trades while sipping these.

Torn cartilage in ankle. Just been putting my feet up (literally). Got a quote for £7k earlier for landscape and garden work at a house I bought after an estimate of just over half that. Good times. Would've done most of it myself if my ankle wasn't f'd. Just going to be reading, doing coursework and bathing my foot in epsom salt baths with a brandy or two while looking for better deals for the renovation work. Regret drinking over the holidays too much as I genuinely could do with a fee now.

Funny thing is i've just been getting in to Japense alcohol over the Holidays - including Asahi, Hibiki and Roku. All good stuff. Love it Reminds me I think i've still got some Roku left over actually

Ohhh I've not heard of those others, it was actually my 18 year old son of all people introduced me to Asahi on draft when we were out for dinner a couple of months back, soooo tasty and goes down a little to easy lol

The Peroni I was drinking for a long time were actually the glutin free ones - much nicer than the originals!

Good stuff. I'd make the most of the Asahi on draft mate only ever seen it in the little silver cans. It's all stella and budweiser here haha

A right few bars here have it on draft now, I've never seen the cans... it's bottles I'm sipping on tonight.

I prefer these but it might be because I was drinking Peroni (the gluten free ones, much nicer) for a long time. I go through stages of liking one drink for a while, had a wine stage a couple years back... can't remember much of that stage, had to end it lol. Guinness is another, there was a stage I'd drink nothing but Guinness.. now it's more of a one or two at the bar type of drink.

I partnered with a bunch of friends who are doctors in a small space I own in a suburb/semi-rural area to open a low-cost/no-cost clinic. Basically a non-profit endeavour.

Think cheap/almost free medicines, free diagnoses, more last mile connectivity.

Opening it today.

Super excited.
