I see lots of discussion on books that others recommend on sales but what about books to avoid reading and why?

What books have you read so we know?

I can recommend some related to sales

Idk don't you guys think that basically doxxing companies is better than reading books? Check everything they have online, apply for a job there (even just to see recruitment process), if they're public check their 'for investors' page with financial reports, etc. Go freelance, as frustrating at it is you'll see their ads accounts, previous audits, etc. You can be as basic or as in-depth with this as you want, sometimes a simple google search of competitors is enough.

Ugh, I was once sent a book called, "What the Heck Is EOS?: A Complete Guide for Employees in Companies Running on EOS".

It's not really that it's the worst book out there, but that specific company warped the ideas from the book and ran the company in a way that was not productive.

I suppose it's like anything else that can be misconstrued, but I still found the book to be terribly trite overall.

Yea I like this way of thinking.

Depends what you want or don't want I guess.

My opinion no point reading anything on a specific business type nor industry as no 2 are the same and neither are the people running them.

So learning from people in the same industry is a waste I personally think.

Better off brushing up on skills you don't have. You can use a skill matrix to figure out your own weaknesses and then go from there.
