🎵Music Are there any songs you stopped listening to because the artist is annoying?

I read something about Pepsi pulling out as a sponsor for something because of Kanye West.

This got me thinking that I completely stopped listening to Kanye West's music after that who ordeal where he was a nazi for a while.

Before that I used to like some of his music, but I find most of it to be too annoying to listen to these days. It's like when I hear his songs now I can just tell how 1 dimensional they are.

Anyone else have songs or a music artist that's like this for them now?

For me it’s definitely Eminem.

His early stuff hit hard.. like there was real raw energy, storytelling, and emotion behind it. But his later music sometimes comes off a bit forced. Like he’s trying to prove he can still rap at a high technical level, but it doesn’t always feel as natural or impactful as before. The wordplay is still crazy, but the vibe isn’t the same for me anymore.

When I was younger I listened to Kreayshawn - cute, sweet girl, but opinions about her weren't good and she lost a lot of money not knowing how to do business at all. If she was better at business, I would listen more to her.

I would listen to popular music more if it was a little bit more authentic. It tends to be artful, but lacks authenticity.

Ah, Rich Homie Quan died. It's harder to listen to a dead artist. Rest in peace my ni...

Rappers take their gangsta lifestyle too seriously. They should chill a lil bit more using natural remedies like love... Less drugs boys.

Same here.

There were a couple of songs I liked where Kanye West was featured. I never actually liked the Kanye bits, but I started finding him even more annoying recently, so I talent through the effort of removing him entirely from my music collection.

Thankfully, you can find “non-Kanye” versions of songs he’s featured in. Estelle even released a no-rap (non-Kanye) version of “American Boy”. I deleted the original from my music player and replaced it with that one.
