Ban Issued To Member Festinger Vault

In addition to the like-botting and promotion outside of the Trading Post, I'm posting what he sent me on Telegram publicly.

Yup, I feel attacked as light theme user every time I see him.

I saw that thread he posted in the saloon and thought there was no way that was allowed.

I was one of those defending him in private groups when people were saying he was a scammer. I regret that now.

"Zwielicht is a star knight in a rotting castle".

Sounds like a compliment and an insult.
Also bro there's this fake looking endorsement. I take it you and those BHW mods didn't write it?
Fake reviews.jpg
It looks like a shortened and partially spun version of his approval review for his Festinger Vault service when his listing went live on this forum, back when we still did that. GrootMade was never reviewed here, though.

Everything installed without a hitch" was never said. The FV review instead said, "They installed and activated without any issues" in reference to the add-ons and themes.

"Exactly as described" was also in reference to the add-ons and themes, not the entire service.
Finally, I tested the plugins and themes on my own site. They installed and activated without any issues, and they were exactly as described.
If anything, it took the actual review that I said was conducted between myself and another admin out of context and attributed it just to me.

When we released Trading Post 1.5, we did away with these approval reviews for this exact reason. They come across as endorsements and give the wrong impression.

I checked out his site when he made that post earlier.

I saw the reviews on trustpilot and this fucker is still charging people's credit cards on the new site.

The fake reviews and spam and credit card shit are just insane. Makes you wonder how long he's been doing this for.

Uh bro did you see that weird shit on his new site?

And of course it doesn't work properly on mobile:

Seems to me that Martin is running away with shit in his pants instead of dealing with his problems.

I think the lawsuit from automaticc fried his brain, unfortunately.

Bro what's with all the weird antiforum shit on there?
The legacy has ascended. Stop begging for updates in broken forums and start ruling your empire
They play forum games. We ship code.
Build empires while they fix logins
Like wtf does that have to do with the service? The whole site looks like a vendetta cause he got banned for fucking scamming on BHW and spamming here lmao.

I read this again. Was he expecting you to leave his sales thread open when his website had been down for months just because he bought membership?

From the sound of it, yes.

We were receiving a lot of complaints here about the site being down for months and non-functional before it went down.

Service listings here can be shut down for these reasons.
Section 8: Sales Listing Closures
In accordance with rule 3.4 of our terms of service, sales listings may be closed by staff if they are deemed problematic to our Trading Post. This includes, but is not limited to: dropped quality, inaccurate information in sales listings, misleading sales practices, TOS violations, and legal reasons.

Closed sales listings will have one of three closure prefixes applied to them as a catch-all. Regardless of the reason, all closed sales listings are moved to the Archived Service Listings.

Section 8.1: Expired
These listings simply expired as the trader didn't pay the renewal fee.

These listings can be reopened by paying the renewal fee so long as it's the same service. To do this, just submit another thread for the same service to the pre-approvals section.

Section 8.2: No Longer Available
These service listings were closed early by the request of the trader.

As long as these services haven't expired, they can be reopened by sending a support ticket into our support desk.

Section 8.3: Permanently Closed
These listings have been permanently closed by staff either due to the service going down or complaints about the quality of the service. They cannot be reopened.

Traders with closed listings cannot submit a new listing for the same service to this section. In other words, this service is permanently banned from the platform.

3.4 Sales Listings

Sales listings are subject to the rules of the Trading Post. Please be aware that sales listings may be closed by staff if they are deemed problematic to our Trading Post. This includes, but is not limited to: dropped quality, inaccurate information in sales listings, misleading sales practices, TOS violations, and legal reasons.
I don't really know why he mentioned the Tribunal section as that's not relevant here. Had it been a Tribunal issue, he would've been straight up banned back then instead of his sales listing being closed.

This is just an example of someone grasping at straws. Nothing more.

Ban Issued To: Festinger Vault
Ban Issued By: Impulse
Ban date: Feb 19 2026
End date: Never
Ban Reason: Spam, like-botting and selling outside of the trading post
I logged in a little while ago and saw I had some likes from him. I didn't know he was botting!

When I checked the alerts, the likes were gone though. Did you guys remove them?

omg that guy got really nasty. I saw his service was down for a long time and honestly I'm surprised his sales thread wasn't taken down sooner!

I know this Vault member was banned for the bot spam and selling outside the marketplace but out of curiosity what happens when someone requests a refund on OO?

Yeah, the bot likes were removed by @Impulse as she removed any reactions he did over the last day. Cleaning it up took a few seconds at the most.

If the payment was made less than 6 months ago, we generally issue the refund. If it was made more than 6 months ago, we decline the refund.

Anyone who requests a refund is only barred from purchasing membership again. The details are covered in rule 1.10 of the TOS.

1.10 Refunds

You may request a refund for any version of Sapphire Status purchased on Office Outlaw up to 6 months after the payment has been made. However, be aware that requesting refunds will temporarily bar you for a minimum of 6 months from purchasing Sapphire membership or sales listings on Office Outlaw. Refunds cost us monetarily in transaction fees and hurt the standing of our merchant accounts. Donations via the Donate page and via Patron are non-refundable. Sales listings are non-refundable except in cases where our staff have to remove the listing through no fault of the seller (e.g., unexpected legal reasons). Know that you can still make karma-only purchases for cosmetic badges.
In this case, the refunds weren't issued as they were for Sapphire and Patron memberships he purchased 10 months ago.

Prior to this, we only ever had one other refund request. It was from a former member named @Crazy Lucifer who requested a refund about a month after purchasing Sapphire. We just issued the refund and he remained on the forum for a little while until he requested his own ban.
