Hey all!

I wanted to know if anyone knew what the cheapest managed VPS was?

I keep looking for cheap options that are managed. All the cheap options I keep coming across are unmanaged unfortunately.

It doesn't need to be the fastest thing ever. Something around 50GB of storage and 1GB of ram will do really.

A lot of traditional hosts' price-managed VPS are not cheap, but the cheapest ones, in my opinion, are ScalaHosting and Cloudways.

What are you going to use it for?
Websites for clients.

My clients don't like doing their own webhosting so I offer it to them and just would like to stick it all on one managed VPS.

Just make sure you use a replicated vps so it dont go down, not fun when all your clients are screaming at you if your one vps goes down.

I use a vps host that uses Ceph Replication-3 for minimum hardware problems, link, not managed though. So that might be something to think of in your search to host all your clients on one vps, if you can, try to spread them out on multiple vps instead of one.

Bro that's some fire advice.

If you're doing it for clients and clients alone, I am guessing they like the familiarity of cPanel.

Although managed VPSes are great, you triple the cost overhead - server costs + managed services cost + cPanel licensing cost.

If you're just going to be hosting clients, you're better off getting a high powered reseller account with one of the providers with dedicated RAM.

Less overhead, configuration and stuff for you.

Even managed VPS come with "some assembly required".
