Beyoncé gets thanked during Grammy because the "winning" artist was allowed to win and are scared of her. They're getting shunned, threatened till they stop making music.

Personally I don't think so, not to the extent people claim they hide information and that.
Corporations on the other hand are very good at it, thats why I think there's something else that knows more or always has a hand behind governments they are inherently stupid.
Exactly! I personally feel the rich indirectly manipulate everything or at least try their hands at it.

Well gates is doing exactly that. Who asked him to cool the planet, or buy up farming land, or tell us to eat bugs, or blame cows for CO2 issues etc all of that is going to backfire.
